First day in Maine

Aug 19...We started the day right, with breakfast at the Raspberry Farm. The kids spent a few minutes eating and most of the time running through the adjacent lawn. There were cousins, parents, aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles, and grandparents to play with, a constant stream of loving caretakers. I think this is when Isaac started to realize that a big family is pretty special.

I got to relax at the table, but Adam was in the middle of all the kids for much of the time.

We have a lot of blurry pictures of Isaac...

JONAH'S FIRST TIME SEEING THE BEACH

A late afternoon car ride through our beloved coastal Maine, finally ending up at Goose Rocks. Isaac was having a tantrum (can't remember why) nearby, and his screams are the missing soundtrack to this happy picture...but Jonah got to dip his feet in the ocean for the first time. He loved it.

And a few cute ones from back at the house: Jonah with Taylor

and a dining room full of cousins and sisters, making goodie bags for all the guests. This is what our Maine is all about.
